No one has taken the time to set down and show us how to love or to be loved so we are angry and we are going to get your attention the only way we know how. This is what we want: a loving family, which includes a dad and a mom, not some Jordens, and told i love you, not a big house, and a new car every year, and you working two jobs and are too tired when you come home at 10pm just in time to tell us to go to bed'. So I think this is whats on our kids minds (this came from many kids that i have listened to in our community)I am a member of Our Chance Enterprises NPO I developed a Youth Skill Center for boys 8-18yrs. program will teach our boys all the skills that he will need to secceed in life. He will be enroll in the ysc and learn: 8-11yrs. arts an crafts. 12-18yrs. auto repair, electrical,plumbing,cabinet making,etc. When he is 18 we will help him to start his own business in the community and hire people who look like him, they will also be paid while they are in the ysc. Our location is across from Northwestern HS 80,000sq. ft. wearhouse. Public funding and grants will be needed for this center to operate successfuly. Need to upen asap! We have no time to waste! HAMMERS AND NAILS,NOT GUNS AND JAILS! PREVENTION NOT DETENTION! SKILLS=BUSINESS MINDS=JOBS=70%DECREASE IN CRIME! This will change the every day agenda for all involved. It gives the gang leaders a change in their dat-to-day shedule. It will get the community leaders directly involved with the gang leaders... This is only my thought!
