Memories of Special Occassions will never be the same without Mr. Lee’s Photogenic version of it. He always told us, “Ya’ll are the Happiest Couple I’ve ever seen”. As I always said, “That’s because you’re taking our picture.” He will trully be missed.

The Teasdell Family has endeared themselves to Mr. Lee for he was lovingly faithful and unwavering in his support over the years. We feel as if we have lost another family member. God bless!

Today I am mourning for a friend and man who took my picture many times at Gladeview Elementary in the 1960s. He took other pictures of my family too including my children when they were born. Mr. Lee was a loving man and a father figure. His unconditional love for people will live on in our lives. Just pull out some of the pictures he took of you and remember that a picture is priceless. This African American was an entrepreneur making sure he gave back and supported the Black community for almost 50 years. R.I.P Columbus R. Lee. Your cowboy boots, hats, smile and jokes will be missed.
