Fashion row in outlet mall is first in country

Fashion Row

The largest outlet mall in the country has just gotten bigger. Sawgrass Mills mall has secured its spot as the number one resource for fashion lovers and bargain shoppers alike.
“I think it’s interesting,” local UM design student and stylist, Chad Cox, said.
“They have come insanely far with the designers that they are carrying.”
The mall has welcomed an entire new collection of stores. The roster is extensive and it consists of a few firsts that the country hasn’t seen. The new line up can actually be found in a new wing of the mall called Fashion Row and the stores stand up to the alluring name of the new wing.
Steve Madden now has an outlet in the mall, and is the first Steve Madden outlet in the country. Shoe lovers and self-professed fashion addicts will be more than pleased with the collection of shoes that they find in the outlet. Fashion enthusiasts should delighted to see other collections such as: DKNY, Columbia sports clothing, Solstice, Max Studio and Calvin Klein, just a few of the names that can be seen in the new wing. Much like the rest of the mall, a trip is required to take in all of the new additions. Forever 21 will have its largest outlet in the country housed in the Sawgrass Mills mall.

A growing respect for bloggers

As the significance of the blogging community becomes more pronounced every day to department stores, Sawgrass Mills has decided to follow suit, and reach out to bloggers.  In fact, the outlet mall hosted a blogger reception to allow local South Florida bloggers to preview the new collection of outlets and tour the new additions.
“We wanted to reach out to fashion bloggers because of their great understanding of fashion, style and value of the dollar,” Director of Marketing for Sawgrass Mills, Joellyn Fellmeth, said.
“There is so much that you can do with your dollar here.”
Chad Cox assembled looks for the exclusive blogger presentation. The presentation was intended to be pleasing to the eye and kind to any shopper’s wallet. Well-known South Florida blogger, Jewel Figueras blogged her review of Cox’s presentation on the new items.
“[Cox] was amazing–putting outfits together for pennies, and showing us how to mix and match brands.,” Figueras wrote on her blog “Jewel’s Fab Life”
“Being the skeptic that I always am, I frequently asked about the prices — and my jaw dropped every time,” she concluded.

Fashion So Sweet

To close out the celebration of the new outlets that have come to Sawgrass Mills, the mall will be hosting a shopping party on November 15th at 6 p.m. called “Fashion So Sweet,” which will be hosted by Lauren Tannehill, wife of the Miami Dolphins quarterback, Ryan Tannehill. All those who attend will be able to mix and mingle with the top South Florida fashion bloggers and the host while enjoying savory treats and a complimentary coupon book to accompany them on their shopping adventure for the evening.
