JAMES ROBERT CHRISTIAN, 77

retired police officer, died November 26 at North Shore Medical Center. Survivors include: wife, Jacquelyn Christian; daughter, Annette Christian; loving caregiver, Carolyn Christian; stepchildren, Warren Paul Grant, Dr. Angelique Grant-Hutchinson; and grandchildren Nissim Gaines, Llyo’ressa Christian, Briana Grant, Brandi Gant and Tyona Grant. Service 11 a.m., December 6 at New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Progressive Officers Club, Inc. Scholarship Fund.

    Jimmie was a dear friend to my family. He was a groomsmen in my wedding thirty years ago. He will be dearly missed.

    I am thankful and grateful for the years I spent growing up with Uncle Jimmy. I learned alot from him. He raised me to be the woman I am today. Rest in Peace – XOXO!
