The President did not make a racial statement. You should be thankful we have President Obama as our President today. He is a man of treating everybody right and want the best for us all, esecially in the USA. It is too bad that a child cannot go to a neighborhood store today. I remember as a child, I looked forward to doing just that. When I heard the story about Travon going to a neighborhood store to buy candy and a drink, it brought back memories, because I did just that without any fear. I am sure many more children did back when without fear also. I think today also depends a lot where you live and that you let it be known you will take a stand before tradgy occures.I said something has to be done about this. Our forefathers paved the way, and there is no way that this can be swept under the rug. This is about all people. Only the top layer of our skins is different. We are all the same, blood, liver, eyes, hearts, lungs, bones, etc. God is getting tired of all this un-necessary foolishness that keep happening all over the world. We truly need to know who He is and the word that sum Him up is LOVE not hate. He made EVERYTHING for His own pleasure.

Why did Trayvon Martin's parents allow their child to walk to a neighborhood convenient grocery store to buy skittles; a drink at 9pm on a school night? Why didn't Travon Martin's parents drive him to the store? If Trayvon Martin was suspended from school he should have been put on restriction. The parents of Trayvon Martin made poor decisions and do not want to take any responsibility for the death of their son. This child would be ALIVE today if the parents would have guided and disciplined their son. Today's parents need to be more involved with their kids. Parents need to define appropriate behavior to their kids, Set limits, rules, & consequences and take an interest in their kids. Also, what value are the civil rights activist adding to this case? why did President Obama make such a racial statement on this case? It is unfortunate this teenager lost his life and now his parents are attending marches & rallies including getting involved with the most racist leaders in the United States. Whatever happen to grieving, mourning, and processing the life of your precious child? Trayvon Martins parents need to find something meaningful to deal with their emotions like setup a foundation in their child name or seek a professional counselor to process their grief and deal with their childs death.

I am sickened by the tragic death of Trayvon Martin and wonder at what point and at what additional cost will it take for young black men to be able to fully grow into older black men without fear for thier lives. Lets just forget the Hoodie thing because in my mind it is not about that but about someone disobeying a direct order to stand down and let the authorities handle the situation. Has anyone asked why did you have to get out of your truck to find the street location? If Trayvon was running away, why would he double back and attack you? It just appears that Mr. Zimmerman decided that this one would not get away. Based on the tape when he proclaims that "these a..holes always get away" or something to that affect. In closing, I hope that we can use this as a rallying call to stop all the needless killings of our future.
