Monestime and Jackson get out the vote

Voters in Miami-Dade County took center stage on Sunday, April 29th when Rev. Jesse L. Jackson joined County Commissioner Jean Monestime at a voter motivation and mobilization rally. The event was held at 93rd Street Community Baptist Church. County residents were urged to vote and make their voices heard at the ballot box during local and national elections. Monestime said, “If we want change, we have to participate in the process — we must vote.”

Get out the vote for who? Why are they rallying to get black people to vote for President Obama. He has not done anything for black people. If a candidate ignores his voting base for almost 4 years and I vote for him again then I am crazy. I dont like these black leaders thinking blacks should be pimped for votes. What has President Obama done for Blacks? Nothing. In fact we are WORST OFF. He helped the gays with gay marriage talk and dont ask dont tell and he wants to give illegals jobs that should go to Americans. WHy the heck would I vote for that. Black people need to wake up. THe Democrat Party has changed since the times of Predient Kennedy etc. It is a gay marriage, anti family, take blacks for granted party. I want no part of it. That is why I changed from Democrat to Independent. We have been taken for granted long enough. I wil be voting for Rodmney -he is against gay marriage and he knows how to start and run a business. I beleive he can create jobs because he has experience doing so. I love Jesse to death because he is an original fighter of civil righs leader (with Dr. King). Obama represents a wet behind the ears person that could not care less about helping blacks -he is about money and winning and will throw our black behinds under the bus like he already has. NOBAMA 2012.
