North Shore Medical Center and Florida Medical Center Team Up to Donate Hundreds of Toys to “Big Mama” and the Team of Life Organization
North Shore Medical Center and Florida Medical Center presented “Big Mama” and the Team of Life Organization with
hundreds of toys to help local children in need have a happier holiday season. Hospital employees, medical staff and administration came together to help “Big Mama” load a big van with over $6,000 worth of toys.
Each year during the holiday season, the hospitals enjoy partnering with local charities to donate toys and other gifts to families in need. This year, each of the hospitals donated over $3,000 worth of unwrapped toys for “Big Mama.”
“Big Mama has a selfless passion to help others,” said Manny Linares, CEO of North Shore Medical Center. “Her work with the Team of Life Organization helps so many children and families in our community.”
“We were happy to have contributed with North Shore Medical Center in donating toys and gifts for ‘Big Mama,’” said Dr. Raul Aparicio, chief of staff at Florida Medical Center. “We are thankful to be able to provide these toys to this organization and the families who will receive them.”
