Dancers, music help toast new House of Mandela

The Mandela family is honored by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Audrey Edmonson.

House of Mandela (HOM) was the talk of the town at Multitudes Gallery where members of the media, wine connoisseurs and some of South Florida movers and shakers had the chance to meet the two women. Dr. Mandela says they are “committed to building a brand that will make a positive and passionate contribution to the world through their HOM wine.”

The event was hosted by WPBT’s ArtLoft, Host Kalyn James. Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Rakkassan along with samples of various bouquets from HOM. Music was powered by Steelaway, a steel drum performer, with Delou Africa Ensemble closing out the event with an African drum and dance performance. Miami-Dade County Commissioner Audrey Edmonson presented HOM with a proclamation from the County.
