Woman Arrested for ‘twerking’ in front of kids at a school bus stop
An Orlando woman was charged with disorderly conduct for ‘twerking’ in front of kids on a school bus. Valerie Dixon has been charged with disorderly conduct after a Lake County deputy spotted the 27-year-old woman bent over at the waist and screaming profanities at a school bus full of children. The woman had one hand on her ankle during her performance and the other on her private parts.
Man accused of threatening young girls at Broward bus stop
A man was recently arrested after authorities allege he threatened to rape young girls who were waiting at a bus stop in North Lauderdale. Charles Scott, 29, is charged with resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer, in addition to battery charges stemming from a prior, unrelated case, jail records show.
Broward cop finds duffle bag of cocaine while on manatee patrol
A Broward Sheriff’s deputy found a burlap bag with cocaine worth $700,000 while out on manatee protection duty last Wednesday morning. Deputy James Lemieux spotted the bag floating a mile offshore between Dania Beach Pier and the Port Everglades Inlet about 11 a.m., according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Investigators estimate each brick -- which contained a kilo -- to be worth about $28,000.
North Miami woman shoots roommate during argument
A woman shot her male roommate in the back after the two got into an argument last Wednesday afternoon. It was unclear what the pair was fighting about in the apartment on 13990 NE Sixth Ave. according to the North Miami Police Department. The man was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was in stable condition. The shooter, whose identity was not disclosed, was taken into custody. She was charged with attempted murder.
