Another ICON left this earth among the many this past week. He’s Bishop George Knowles, Sr. It is with humble hearts and grateful souls that we thank each and every person who offered words of encouragement, thoughts, prayers, flowers, food and any other kind deed.

We have been blessed with the presence of our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather great Great-grandfather, we will miss him dearly, especially the sons and daughters ministers in the family starting with the wife. Bishop G. Knowles led Church of God of Prophecy his entire life and concluded at Hallandale God of Prophecy.

The King of Clubs of greater Miami and Nelson Jenkins, Scholarship Banquet Chair are planning the recognition of “Man/woman of the Year,” recipients of 4-scholarships the Fletcher Paschel family; 3-scholarships from the Dr. Tee S. Greer, Jr.; Dr. Lorraine Farrington Strachan fund and more, along with entertainment from the Psi Phi Band and “Starlett” consisting of Wanda, Docie, and Marie Bloomington. Dinner will be a choice of prime ribs, tuna, and chicken or hamburger for children.

The event will be 1 p.m. May 4 at the Doubletree Hotel and Spa.
