Jackson Health System hosts small business vendor fair
Event promotes participation, inclusive competition and transparency

Jackson Health System will host a Small Business Vendor Fair on February 26, 2014 at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
During the fair, attendees will learn about doing business with Jackson, the third largest public hospital system in the nation.

“The fair will provide networking opportunities to create new business relationships and strengthen existing relationships within the Miami-Dade county community, said Carlos A. Migoya, president and CEO.
The fair will also provide information to help small businesses gain insight on opportunities to compete fairly and equally in the procurement process at Jackson Health System.
“We envision small businesses teaming up with larger contractors in joint venture relationships or to serve as subcontractors on larger contracts,” said Public Health Trust Chairman Darryl Sharpton. “These contracting opportunities could create sustainable jobs for companies doing business with Jackson as well as have an economic multiplier effect on the South Florida economy.”
