Rochelle’s Bedside is a book written by a young lady, Levita Lynn Jones. She is a wife, mother and an ordained minister of the gospel, who sincerely believes that she is to do what God instructs her to do, without reservations. She was instructed by God to “go and pray for Rochelle.” A young lady she had never met before and she did as instructed, more than 10 years ago.
The 53 page book includes experiences Levita has had with Rochelle’s husband, mother, father, and sisters, who do not live in Miami full time, but who constantly demonstrate the love they have for their daughter and sister. The book also details experiences with other individuals Levita has met because of her developed relationship with Rochelle’s family members.
There are also personal experiences Levita writes about only to encourage the hearts of those who read her book. Her two prayer partners, Angela and Marycela, as does Levita, believe that prayer with supplication changes things, situations and people.
Rochelle has been in a coma for more than 10 years and with the child she gave birth to before going into the coma, she and her husband are the parents of two other children.
By Rochelle’s Bedside is a must read for caregivers, nurses, nursing home workers, Christians, married couples and anyone who need to know that it is better not to make a vow than to go back one that is made.
The author is a member of Bethel Church in South Miami and can be reached at 305-546-8264
