Ricardo Strachan, 36, was born in Nassau, Bahamas to the parentage of Marquetta and Samuel Strachan, and according to his stepfather, Elder Keith Humes, he is “an anointed, dynamic, apostolic, and prophetic voice for the 21st century kingdom advancement."
Ricardo is the Senior Pastor of Prophetic Worshippers International in Lauderhill, FL at 1711 N.W. 38th Ave., 33311, since 2009. His wife, Diane, also born in Nassau, Bahamas, is the daughter of Barbara Johnson and Ramon Rudon, and serves as co-pastor and administrator of the church. Minister Junior Sylvain, born in Miami and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, serves as the Youth Pastor.
Pastor Ricardo describes himself as “a real romantic.” This writer tends to agree with that description, after asking Ricardo, when did you marry your lovely wife? To confirm the date of marriage (Aug. 28, 2000) from the day he got the license (August 25), he opened his wallet and pulled out the marriage license. How rare and romantic is that? A husband, after 14 years still carries the marriage license with him.
Ricardo became a Christian at the age of 15 in the Bahamas while attending St. Jude Pentecostal Church. He and his mother moved to Florida when he was 18. They attended S.H.O.P. (Salvation House of Praise) in Pompano under the leadership of Pastor Patrick and Co-Pastor Janet Turnquest. Ricardo, at the age of 20, served as Youth Pastor there for five years. That ministry merged with Changing Life Ministry where Pastor Hurricane Johnson was the pastor.
From 2006-2009, Ricardo served as the Assistant Pastor of the Kings Worship Palace in Ft. Lauderdale.
When Ricardo is not traveling, he faithfully serves as the senior pastor and apostle of Prophetic Worshippers International, Inc., 3rd Lead Apostle and Kingdom Professor for Alliance of the Apostle Global Network, Prophet and Global Affairs for Men with Purpose Kingdom Ambassadors.
“He is a great father to our daughter, Destiny Devine,” said his wife and Co-pastor, Diane, “And is dedicated to serving his family, community and church.
He is a friend and brother to many but a servant, son, and priest to God.”
When asked, what is his vision for the ministry he leads, Ricardo’s response was, “I have many, but the one that takes priority is working hard to make such an impact on the community that families are saved and reunited.”
Humes says his stepson “Is highly respected for his integrity and commitment to holiness and humility.”
