Michael S. Weston was born to Doris Rahming and Booker T. Weston in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was raised and educated there, and is a graduate of Zion Lutheran Senior High School. Weston matriculated at Florida Memorial University in Miami for two years, but is a graduate of Harvest Reapers International School of Ministries (HRIS) at 600 S.W. 27th Ave. in Ft. Lauderdale. There are three HRIS. He is a Licensed Life Coach and Christian (Family) Counselor.
LaShawn R. Weston’s birth place was Brooklyn, N.Y. to Clarice McCoy-Scott and Alphonso McCoy. She graduated from Boyd H. Anderson Senior High School in Lauderdale Lakes, FL.
LaShawn, like her husband, is a Harvest Reapers graduate with identical degrees and licenses. They are the parents of four boys: Stephen, Michael, Christopher, and Bishon. Stephen is presently serving in the US Navy while Michael, Christopher and Bishon serve as musicians in their church.
The Westons were members of The House of God in Deerfield under the leadership of Pastor Alpheus Byrd, before they were selected to pastor and co-pastor the Harvest Reapers International Ministries Church at 884 S.W. 27th Ave. in Ft. Lauderdale, under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Howard Akins, Jr.
Weston teaches Homiletics at HRIS and in his position as Life Coach will be mentoring young boys ages 13 to 18 within the Miami-Dade and Broward communities, bridging the gap between boys and men. Weston is well versed in music and is a singer, songwriter and musician “for the Lord.”
Reverend LaShawn is dedicated to the women and children at their church and loves to lead the Praise and Worship services.
She also leads the Back to the Basics Bible Study classes, is a spoken word artist, and is an upcoming author of inspirational poetry for the soul.
The aim of these two God-fearing servants is “to serve their community by seeking and helping to save those who are lost.”
Additionally, they “want to be a beacon of light and hope through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Pastor Weston said, “The angels rejoice in heaven over every soul that has been saved and brought out of darkness into the marvelous light of Jesus Christ our Lord.” He added, “I have a passion for spreading the gospel in my immediate community, nationwide, and abroad.
Michael and LaShawn Weston were featured pastors on The Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), recently. Weston is a sought after guest preacher, teacher, singer and musician.
Michael and LaShawn said, “Our mission and promise to the Lord is to seek, find, and help save the lost, through the power of Jesus Christ.”
