Nothing could be finer than an old-fashioned bazaar

Corine Bradley (l-r), Joyce Reid and Marva Hill, were just a few of the many anxious shoppers who were out looking for ‘gently-used items’ at Ebenezer UMC’s [2001 NW 36th Street] bazaar, held last Saturday afternoon. The event was part of the church’s fundraising efforts as it prepares for its 114th church anniversary. Next up: Karaoke Night on Friday, Aug. 24th. We hear that the pastor, Dr. Joreatha Capers may even take the mic.
