Last Friday evening at 8 p.m., our deacon Doris W. Ingraham celebrated her “Natal Day” with friends and family in Parish Hall at St. Agnes. The food was sumptuous and the Junkanoo was great.
Francina Lewis-Robinson returned home from Orlando after an enjoyable stay with her son Gilford and his family.
Congrats to Latoya Porter who has been named “Teacher of the Year” for Frederick Douglas Elementary, for the second consecutive year.

A beautiful “pin” in tribute to our beloved priest, Richard L. Marquess Barry, our officiant, who ended a pastoral relationship with his members at the Historic St. Agnes Episcopal Church, where he preached his farewell sermon last Sunday morning at the 10 a.m. service.
Another beautiful “pin” in tribute to Fr. Barry is on sale by members of our November group — Fr. Barry’s birth month — if interested speak with Gayle Sturrup or any captain in the Fall months.
Wedding anniversary greetings with our love and best of wishes go out to our wonderful and loving couples of the week: Ronald and Diana B. Frazier II, Nov. 27th: their 8th; James and Barbara S. Patterson, Nov. 29th: their 54th and John and Valerie (Henry) Baker celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on Nov 24th — how unique.
Wildcats were saddened to learn of the demise of Bertha Jackson-Sharpe one of our former songbirds of our city and Bethune-Cookman University. Our sympathy goes out to her family members.
Also, we were saddened to hear of the demise of Rose Marie Bain-Rogers, daughter of Florence Moss-Bain and granddaugther of the late Joseph and Florence Moss, Sr., formerly of Overtown on 11th Terrace, and niece of Ora Moss and the Moss clan.
On Dec. 1st and 2nd, we witnessed the changing of the guard when our beloved priest Father Richard L. Marquess-Barry relinquished his duties as the head of his flock and Father Denrick Ephriam Rolle became our rector. To Father Barry, well done thy good and faithful servant, with much gratitude, Anna Grace and your Saint Agnes Episcopal Church members. We will always love you and cherish your friendship.
