Did you know the post office located on 62nd street near 7th avenue is now a funeral home? It is named Zion Funeral Home. Think of the many many people in that area who do not own cars and go to the post office to purchase stamps, money order, etc. What a shame, plus all those business places having to mail items. That post office had been at that location for 75 years or more I was told. What a shame senior citizens must now travel outside of their own community in order to conduct essential business.
