Hip-hop dance classes coming to AHCAC The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, in partnership with UP2US, is having an orientation for a free hip-hop dance class series at 10 a.m. Saturday at the center, 6161 NW 22nd Ave. Dance classes begin Feb. 14 and run through May 30. Ojus educator dies before his final year Alumni and colleagues gathered at Ojus Elementary School in Northeast Miami-Dade Sunday to say goodbye to beloved Coach Gregory Blatch, a FAMU graduate who taught P.E. for more than three decades. Students’ final act in the FCAT saw a small increase in performance on the standardized test. In Miami-Dade County, there was improvement in five of seven areas including math, reading and science.
