Miami Central looked like they were out of gas in the early portions of their matchup last Friday night with Melbourne Palm Bay in the Region 4-6A finals. But somehow the 12-0 Rockets found some steam and connected on a total of 218 yards. Once again it was a yeoman’s performance by Joseph Yearby who carried the ball 26 times for 153 yards and scored two touchdowns. Central had a mere 7-0 lead at the half but was able to add 10 more unanswered points in the fourth quarter to seal the 17-7 victory.
