I just can't figure out how someone that smug can do anything but a horrible job for the residents of the district. But I guess it runs in the family. Commissioner Edmonson may not be perfect but she is so much more qualified to do the job than her opponent. What is scary is that he will probably be right there to run for that seat if and when term limits kick in for the County Commission. I really hope that someone like Lucie Tondreau moves into the district before then.

Just watched the Michael Putney show which featured district 3's commission race between Commissioner Audrey Edmonson and Mr. Hardemon.
Wow, that guy was so rude and disrespectful. Perhaps it was his youth, or maybe someone forgot to school him on the etiquettes of debating against an opponent. He reminded me of Mitt Romney--saying anything, talking over people, calling the opponent a liar, and just being reckless. I'm not saying you have to be nice to your opponent, but there's a certain demeanor that should be displayed if you want people to vote for you. In my opinion, that wasn't it. Commissioner Edmonson did good to keep her poise and not call him what I'm sure she wanted to call him---a snot nose, wet behind the ear, wimpering cry baby. I don't live in that district, so I wont be voting for either candidate, but if I were, the experience, and self control of Audrey Edmonson would get my vote over the hot headed, overly zealous Hardemon.!! Outside of the political arena he may be a nice guy, but I just can't vote for a candidate that behaves that way in front of people, and especially towards women.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
